As in previous years, SFB prepared the end-of-year donation with its Solidari’terre partners, concerning people with disabilities in the cities of Mezdra (70 km north of Sofia) and Harmanli (250 km southeast of Sofia , near the Greek and Turkish borders).

A transfer of € 717 was made for payment of 92 sheets, which will be donated to the Harmanli hospital. This is the price of the fabric (7.8 € including bank charges and conversion to Bulgarian Leva) for these sheets and pillow sets because the sewing work is done on the spot.

The students of Solidari’terre handed over these sheets, which were very useful for the patients of this small hospital (46 beds) and the hospital of Harmanli let us know that “All the staff are happy, they wish to see our student friends from Solidari’terre and thank them personally. The hospital has never received such a large donation, you have made many people happy. “
